Fennel chopped |

Velery chopped |

Barley meal |
| 2 pints |
Rose water |
| 3 |
Egg whites |
| 2 tsp |
Lanolin |
| Method: | |
- In a double boiler, simmer the apples, fennel, celery and barley meal in the rose water; when mushy add beaten egg white and lanolin.
- Strain and beat until smooth.
- Keep in the refrigerator.
