Rosemary Essential Oil

Rosemary Rosemary Essential Oil. Rosemary is an evergreen shrub with numerous branches; ash-colored. scaly bark and bears opposite, leathery, thick leaves which are lustrous and dark green above and downy white underneath. The pale blue, sometimes white, relatively small, flowers grow in short axillary racemes, arranged in false whorls on the upper parts of the branches, blooming during April and May, or later in cooler climates. Blends well with:Geranium, juniper, lavender, lemon, ravensara, sandalwood, thyme linalol.
Historical Uses:Major use in soaps, cosmetics, hair preparations, perfumes and household sprays.
Modern Uses:Used to treat 'nerves', digestive disorders, gas, palsy, weak memory, dizziness, migraine, dandruff, jaundice, consumption, and menstrual pains. Also stimulates hair growth, restores appetite, clears sight. Used in spicy, herbaceous flavours and fragrance compounds for all purposes
Cautions:Non toxic, non irritant, non sensitizing. Avoid during pregnancy. Avoid if prone to epileptic attacks. Do not use if suffering from high blood pressure.
