Boronia Absolute
Boronia is a bushy evergreen shrub, up to 6 ft. high, which bears an abundance of fragrant, nodding flowers with an unusual coloring - the petals are brown on the outside, yellow on the inside. This shrub is often grown as an ornamental shrub in gardens and is related to the citrus tree. It is native to Western Australia and grows wild all over west and southwest Australia. A concrete and absolute are obtained by the effleurage method or petroleum-ether extraction method from the flowers. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation.
