Aglaia Flower Absolute
Aglaia Flower produces fragrant yellow flowers – that are as small as a grain of rice, with a very strong perfume. The fragrance is outstanding! Aglaia is said to have many medical uses: odorine and odorinol obtained from this plant has cancer chemopreventive activity. It is found in India, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and possibly Laos. In Java the flowers are used for scenting tea and the tender leaves are eaten as a vegetable. Locally used as a medicine. An essential oil is also distilled from the seeds of this tree. In Java the fragrant flowers are added to a local tea.
